Best practices for assisting Costco Members:
1)
After Costco Members register, they can take their offer certificate to
any Subaru dealership nationwide. This certificate will have the
Member's name and address, a list of incentives available and dealer
redemption instructions.2) If a Costco Member forgets to bring
their printed Subaru offer certificate, please generate a new offer
certificate for them by calling 1-800-927-9263 or visit www.costcoauto.com/special_offers/dealer.aspx through the dealer back-end system and enter dealership zip code: 22182
After you enter dealership zip code, choose the Subaru model and follow these steps to issue the Subaru offer certificate:
- Click "Verify Membership"
- Select your dealership from the dropdown
- Enter the 12-digit Membership number, located on the back of the card and complete the form with the Member
- Enter the member's information (please do not enter dealer's information)
Note: DO NOT make a copy of the Membership card - Click "Verify Membership." Let the Member know they will receive a copy of the certificate in their email. Either they print it out or they can email it to you and you print it out - must keep it in deal jacket
- Apply the Costco Member Incentive to the Member's price
- Apply any applicable in-market incentives the Member qualifies to receive
- Be sure to print out and include a copy of the certificate in the Member's deal jacket

The limited-time Costco Member incentives ARE stackable with any
publicly available incentives that also apply to the Member and may be
combined with other Subaru promotional offers, such as low-rate
financing and special lease programs, unless specifically prohibited.
Subaru Reward Dollars can also be combined with the Costco Member
Incentive.
To process sales, use the SubaruNet.com Coupon Redemption System and follow these guidelines:
• The $500 Costco Member Incentive can be used with sales types A, C, L, and P.
• Dealer must upload a copy of the Member's-signed buyer's order or finance contact.
• Buyer's orders must show "Costco Member Incentive" amount listed in the vehicle price details.
• Finance contracts must show Costco Member Incentive ($500) given as part of "due at signing."
• Lease agreements must show Costco Member Incentive discount in the "due at signing" section and the section detailing determination of capitalized cost.
• If the last name of the purchaser does not match
the name on the certificate, please re-register the Member at
CostcoAuto.com/Special_Offers/dealer.aspx or call 1-800-927-9263. If married with different last names, the Costco Member listed on the Certificate must match the primary purchaser buying the car.
Marketing
Costco Auto Program will support the offer with a digital marketing campaign via CostcoAuto.com, in Costco Services emails and through social media.
Costco warehouses will receive fliers to be displayed alongside the Auto Program magazine in
the Costco Services board. Select warehouses will host Subaru Outback and Impreza vehicle
displays from participating Costco Auto Program dealerships.
