The design of the Subaru Crosstrek has been slightly updated for 2021. The 2021 Subaru Crosstrek features a new front-end design. Both the front bumper and front grille of the new Crosstrek have been refined to provide a sleeker and classier look to the model. Additionally, the new Subaru Crosstrek Sport trim offers various visual upgrades, like larger wheels and special color patterns.
Performance Features
The 2021 Subaru Crosstrek is available with two different powertrains. The base 2.0-liter BOXER engine is standard in the Crosstrek Base trim and Crosstrek Premium trim. The 2.0-liter engine produces 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. The larger 2.5-liter engine is available in the Crosstrek Sport and Crosstrek Limited trim levels. The 2.5-liter BOXER engine produces 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. Both engines can be paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional continuously variable transmission. There is also a plug-in hybrid variant of the new Subaru Crosstrek.
Technology Features
Each trim level of the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek lineup is available with Subaru's StarLink infotainment system. StarLink provides access to a variety of connectivity and entertainment features in the Crosstrek. A standard 6.5-inch touchscreen display is used in every 2021 Crosstrek trim aside from the Crosstrek Limited, which is offered with an eight-inch display.
